Happy Thanksgiving! Those of you who read my husband’s blog have probably figured out why the debut of my new phlog was delayed. We have a debut of another sort expected in June, and that has been a bit of a distraction for me physically and mentally. But I just had to get started so you could catch a few glimpses of Boston in the fall. The turning of the leaves was late this year because of the rain. In fact, we had a day full of snow before the trees really got started. Despite the delay and some odd waves of weather, there have been beautiful colors in almost every corner of the city. We spent an afternoon walking with friends through Arnold Arboretum, the southernmost park in the chain of green spaces Boston calls “The Emerald Necklace.”

We finally made our travel plans, and will definitely be back from our family visits before the weekend of New Year’s. So… see you then!!
