Last night, our church group had a Spring Festival/Chinese New Year celebration. There were about 20 of us there. Our friend Joanne made a wonderful feast of several meats (including a whole chicken, complete with head and feet), noodles, dumplings, a bean soup dessert with gelatinous rice balls (which are filled with a sweet peanut butter concoction), candies, and more. I stayed away from the chicken feet, but Austin tried one. When I asked him what it tasted like he of course replied “chicken.”
