My parents have been staying near Coolidge Corner during their visit. I’d never spent much time there, but these last couple of weeks it’s been the perfect place for us to hang out. There’s plenty to do, but it’s close enough to be an easy outing for a new baby/mom.

Poor Sam. He has a very nice name, but we still find ourselves calling him “Babybug,” like we did when I was expecting. Now, it’s shortened to “the bug,” and often just “Bug.”.

Today my family helped me make a trip downtown to visit my coworkers and introduce them to Sam. It was a beautiful day, warm, but with a breeze. We were surprised to find rather colorful cows “grazing” all over town. They were statues painted by various artists to benefit The Jimmy Fund.
