Seasons and Change

I took the first photo the morning we left Nashville. Sam had a wonderful time visiting family, and now I think he’s a little bored with just Mom and Dad around. The trees seem to have exploded in color while we were gone. I’m so glad not to have missed all the beauty! We took a walk yesterday, despite the dreary weather. Sam is fascinated by the orange, red, and yellow shining everywhere. And… in preparation for the days of hats, scarves and static electricity, I cut a good ten inches off my hair. I did it just in time, too, because lately Sam has been grabbing onto my hair with a death grip, grinning as I pry him loose and try to unwind the strands from his fist. :)
