It was almost one year ago exactly that we went to the Arboretum with friends. Photos from that walk were my first post on this new blog. Our lives were so different then.
Yesterday, Jess and I (and Sam) took the train down to Forest Hills and wandered along the paths admiring the trees. This time the air was clear and the sky blue. It was the perfect fall day. Sam slept in the front carrier most of the time, except when we irritated him by taking him out for pictures. On the way home, we had lunch at Au Bon Pain. Jess gave Sam little tastes of thick pumpkin soup, which he loved.
I apologize for not giving these photos descriptive titles. I was in a bit of a rush when I uploaded them, and was feeling uncreative at the time.

and what a sweet little boy you have. i like all the faces of sam–he’s so cute!
i do have a special request: will you PLEASE post today’s wedding photos–or at least send some to my email address? that is, if you plan to take photos. that would be really great!
