The Bean and a Tag

Austin already posted this, but I wanted to post it here too! :-D

We saw the Bean on an ultrasound yesterday, dancing a little wiggle-jig, heart beating fast and strong. Mommy and Daddy were happy to see him! Sam was a bit confused. After the ultrasound we saw one of my heroes, Dr. Sarma, who delivered Sam by C-section last year. As soon as she walked in the room Sam grinned at her as though in recognition. I know it’s impossible. But after all, she was the first person he ever saw. :-D We’re so glad to be under her care again for the Bean.

Also, here’s my response to a tag from Melanie. Most of the people I could think of have already been tagged for this, so I don’t have 8 people. I’ll add more if I think of them.

“Rules”
After posting these rules, each player proceeds to list 8 relatively random facts/habits about himself/herself. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, leaving them a comment on their blogs to let them know.

1. For the first few years of my life I thought I was Annie. For the next few, I thought I was Luke Skywalker.

2. When I touch certain textures (the outside of metal pans, mortar, nail files) it makes me gag, and my teeth and fingertips vibrate the way your feet do after rollerblading.

3. Even as a kid, I always loved the foods people complain about: broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagus, spinach… mmmm.

4. I used to do voice recording. The most hilarious one was a jingle for a TV commercial advertising “FunNoodles,” those foam things you play with in the pool.

5. Secretly, I’ve always wanted to be an architect.

6. In tenth grade, I went through a junk food craze and ate the same thing for lunch every day: cafeteria french fries dipped in ranch dressing, a butterfinger, a can of mountain dew, and a box of red hots.

7. In eleventh grade, I went through a vegetarian craze and ate the same thing for lunch every day: carrots, celery, and V8.

8. For no real reason I’ve never owned a cheese grater.

I’m tagging: Austin, Stephanie, Sarah, and Michelle

Nobody grates cheese anymore anyway–it’s so much easier just to buy it pre-grated. :)

:-) Plus, at our grocery store the price per ounce is exactly the same (at least for the store brand, which tastes fine).

    Hi Melita,
What a cute “Little Bean” you have! You commented on the our blog that you’ve been craving the Lime Sorbet. That’s so funny because I too am totally addicted to the Haagen-Daz Zesty Lemon Sorbet. Great minds (and beans) must think alike! Have a great week!
