Fall At Long and Glorious Golden Last

Sweaters, chilly air that refreshes the lungs, color seeping into the leaves then fluttering to carpet the ground… It’s finally fall!

We live just a block from the Charles River, along which is something called the “East Coast Greenway.” Right now it just means that there is parkland all the way up and down the river, with a beautiful walking path. Eventually, though, this park is supposed to connect with hundreds of other parks, creating a walk that runs from Maine all the way down the east coast to Florida! I guess it’s sort of like an Appalachian trail for casual strollers. :-) So whenever we need to do something on the Watertown side of the river we walk along the park instead of the street. It makes errands much more pleasant, especially now as the leaves are turning!
