Ahhh Vermont

We finally took the long awaited for (and thoroughly planned out - check out the photo of the agenda!) trip to Allie’s family home in Vermont for some leaf-throwing, fire-building, mountain-hiking, food-roasting all-around-good times. We drove up Friday night and returned Saturday night, exhausted but delighted.

Photos from Day 1:

P.S. We missed you the whole time, Olivers. We were wishing for some good J-man stories. Wade tried reading from the farmer’s almanac, but it just wasn’t the same. :D

Awwww…we miss you guys, too–tons! WE tried to have a young adults game night last Sunday, but it just didn’t compare to good times with the IBCB/EBC. Though, I did make your famous Friday Night Crescent Dough Pizza Rolls and everyone LOVED THEM!!!

Loving the pics. I need your help w/something, I am of course, a freshman, but I want to try to audition for all state band… I am nervous. I haven’t decided, yet I look at the music infront of me and I am in awe, it looks like a piece of paper that is all black, it like AHHHH! I am really not sure if I can do it… what do you think I should do audition, or not?

I’d say practice hard, do as well as you can, and if you don’t make it at least you’ll have the experience. That way when you try out again next year, the whole process will be more familiar, and you’ll be less nervous. :)
