Not long now…

With our little girl due December 21st, all the decorations and activities remind us not only that Christmas is around the corner, but that our family is about to grow! Today, the excitement really hit us. For one thing, we had a huge Christmas lunch at the Landrys. It’ll be the last one before they move out of this apartment, so we all lingered for quite awhile. Were we having important, serious discussions? Well, yes… but we also found ourselves rubbing the rims of glasses to make them ring, doing rhythm exercises with plastic cups, drawing all over the paper on the tables, and munching far too many cookies and candy canes. The giddiness only increased as the sun went down and snow started to fall! On the way home, our family walked with the Landry boys over to the center of our neighborhood just in time to see the Christmas lighting ceremony there. No doubt Sam will sleep well tonight after all the excitement. :-)
