Mint Mocha Monday - Amigurumi

I have to admit, I didn’t quite get the amigurumi food craze at first. What possible use could I have for a crochet shrimp kebab? But the idea has grown on me lately, possibly because I think it would be fun to have a little kitchen set full of crochet food for the kids. Here are some cute examples:

Above: cupcakes with sprinkles from Child’s Play Crochet, darlin’ clementines by Eternal Sunshine, and peas in a pod by Yummy Pancake. They can even come out of their pod to play!

But this one completely bowled me over. It’s the pattern for an entire tea set, complete with cookies and cups full of tea, by Delicious Crochet:

I love the crochet tea set. I think I have to pass on it. The other things are neat. I have to try them sometime.

That tea set looks so cool! What a present for a young girl to get for her “tea party” birthday.
