We took the kids to the Newton fireworks show, which was a shorter walk, smaller crowds and much earlier start time than the Boston show. It was great - much bigger than I’d expected! Next year we’ll go early enough to enjoy the little carnival they have set up beforehand. Sam wasn’t too scared of the fireworks, and Maggie slept through all the noise (but not before leaking on her outfit and mine, right as Austin was taking this picture of us.)
